The land of Hysek Colosso watch is wonderful strange completely out of place in today’s marketplace
I fear that the current state of the industry shows does not boot to appreciate watches as Hysek Colosso. Today, fashion, looks, and the model are very important. Essentially, much of the emphasis is placed on watches offers superb rich seem good. This does not always happen naturally, and we still see cattle as interesting Hysek Colosso.

View Colosso watch reminds me of the concept of DeWitt WX-1. Not because they look the same, but because they are multiplied by the same type. Two watches technically inclined of science fiction served for a very small number of enthusiasts. Every year you see two or three watches, which debuted as the world of Basel, but it is certainly a very interesting model of Hysek which is not typically a company to release such a great example of over-watch.

The Colosso was not really very pretty. While it is not an offensive or anything like that, it looks like a spaceship planétaire (literally to bring the planet), or a portable version of HAL from 2001 a space odyssey (just imagine the little land of rotation as a red and black eye ). The box is shown in white or pink gold and is rather large as you can imagine. The case is wrapped in a large and good crystal sapphire cutting, while there is naturally a window of see-through caseback. The movement is manually wound movement internal Jeweled by 62 Hysek. I am pleased that Hysek has not made a mockery out of this watch by placing it in a whirlwind. Now that are just stupid
The model of the watch does not look like much of the line Hysek. Jorg Hysek, the founder of the company is not longer involved in the design (so I hear), and it shows. This is not necessarily bad, but it seems as if the designers are trying to further its work earlier conceptions Hysek watch in the new, but can ‘t really be out where they go. They try to stick with its themes of glory, but in vaguent directions interesting, which is obviously the whole point of Colosso. Other than a few design clip and belt hook, and the police to the numbers on the face, little on really said Colosso Hysek to me. There is a fair amount of Richard Mille in the design, however. Especially given the skeletonization, and applying colored white sapphire crystal used to indicate the devices on the clock.

The movement has an interesting dual repeater minute room. The rooms are so-called crystal made for a distinct noise when the coup against him gongs (called Hysek stamps cathedral). There are all sorts of variations of the functions detailed Repeater (hour, half-hour, 15 minutes, etc.). So when it is activated you like a little melody sound shows that only $ 100,000 can provide positive (with the Colosso is five times that much). I must admit that such sounds have never been bested by their parties against digital, but I also feel as if this function is better suited to a desk clock on your wrist. And strictly speaking, then it is a wristwatch, it does not supposed to be too often. The Colosso is likely to be a sensitive piece of work just to hang occasionally. I would be surprised if the price you didn ‘t get a small office to stand with him as the show concept DeWitt WX-1 linked to above.
The devices on the Colosso are actually rather interesting. The purpose of the body round the earth is to indicate the time to GMT (24 hours), and the earth turns a full-time in periods of 24 hours. If you notice on the lower face, there is a small window with a word of three letters in it. This is used to show a city, which is above the 24 main time zones (some countries such as India have 30 minutes of time zones). Using the buttons on the side of the watch you can browse the various time zones (if you are traveling east or west). Although this is not the first shows to do this.

Also you have a large date display and two vertical indicators to measure two other time zones. This is well done, but not a first. He could get used to reading the time in this format, however. Having said all this, I return to my previous point shows that it is a work meant for an office or the same. While it is useful as a daily show, I doubt that even Hysek recommends it. Instead, this is a serious threat to the complexity, and the Swiss watch manufacturer ’s own brand of science fiction. The character of this watch is enough to appreciate it, beyond simply printing the price. Take for example traditional indicators power used in the book shows. There are at least two elements in this show that are obvious under loupes booking on the face. Instead of watching a reservation of power, you look just to see how closely wound windings are apparent. If they are loose, you roll. A very simple but effective and I like how Hysek has stressed by placing them under magnifiers.

For what it is worth, the few Hysek Colosso watch is intended to be in the hands of just a few souls of discretion. It’s nice to know it, however, and includes the principles of thought and design that have joined him. There will be a lot of mixed reviews in terms of style, and is ‘t expect to see great views of the earth watches over anytime soon. Having said this, the Colosso watch is seriously unpretentious if you look closely. While assessed too much ($ 550,000), it does not shout the glitz and curiosity subtle about it. While he does not respect as many other watchs in this class, it requires the eye observer who immediately becomes investigator as to what this shows is, and wishes to see in action. This itself is a difficult message to send, and the Colosso radiates.
